How to plan better meetings
For better meetings and easier decision-making:
Meet in a quiet place away from distractions.
Plan a clear agenda in advance.
Structure the meeting clearly, giving each agenda item an allotted time.
Take turns facilitating at each meeting (facilitation training can be really useful).
Make sure someone takes concise minutes, which specify action points for individuals.
Minutes should be read out at the end of the meeting along with individuals' action points.
The date and time of the next meeting should be confirmed at the end of the meeting.
Minutes should be circulated well before the next meeting.
