Deciding to move

The Management Committee of the Lumbard Community Centre had previously, and unanimously, decided that the move would go ahead. However, since the last meeting two MC members (one from the youth group, one from the pensioner's group) have changed their minds and written a counter-proposal suggesting that the LCC should stay at its existing premises and fight the redevelopment.

Since you are in charge of the move now, how do you want the MC to react?

  1. They should devote the entire meeting to discussing the proposal, since this is clearly a crisis situation

  2. They should listen to the proposal and discuss it within an allotted time

  3. They shouldn't discuss it because the counter-proposal is invalid as the decision has already been made
